👨‍💻 About me

Hello, I'm Kai Wang, a Full Stack Engineer currently enhancing public health outcomes through technology at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. With a Master of Science in Computer Security Informatics from Johns Hopkins University, I've honed my skills in developing secure and efficient software solutions.

My technical toolkit includes Java, JavaScript, and SQL, along with expertise in frameworks such as Spring Cloud, Mybatis, Hibernate, and more. I thrive in environments that challenge me to deliver robust, scalable applications using Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, AWS, and other cloud technologies.

Professionally, I've led significant projects aimed at safeguarding data for over 400 million users at Yum China, optimising system performance to achieve fast access for over an ocean of users at Chery Finance. These experiences have taught me the importance of team leadership, agile project management, and innovative thinking in software development.

I am particularly proud of my contributions to projects that span data security platforms, web applications for hazard perception, and auto finance core business platforms, showcasing my ability to tackle complex challenges with innovative solutions.

As a lifelong learner, I continuously seek to update my skills and contribute to meaningful projects that leverage technology for the greater good. I'm keen on collaborating with professionals who are passionate about using technology to solve real-world problems.

Currently, I'm finding a fulltime postition. If your team needs an expert in the backend, full-stack or security. Please feel free to contact me!😁
